Memorandum signed with Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN)
On 11 April 2016, Catholic High School and the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN), signed a memorandum of understanding to raise awareness among students of the impact of biomedical research and to develop their interest in scientific pursuits. The world’s first bioengineering and nanotechnology research institute, IBN will help our students gain authentic learning experiences in science research. The partnership complements the school’s rigorous academic curriculum and enhances the wide range of opportunities for our students beyond the classroom. Through working with leading scientists and researchers, the experience will deepen the students’ curiosity about scientific world, and inspire them to continue their journey in science and engineering. By working together, IBN and Catholic High School hope to engender greater interest in science and promote scientific research among the youths in Singapore.
